What's the best way to pack & ship a 17" monitor? I assume, ship UPS (for the lower rates), but what is the best way to pack one of these?

You could try going to a computer store and see if they have any monitor boxes w/ styrofoam packing that they are throwing away.

I know some shippers would not consider it properly packed (and therefore not insurable) if it is not in the original box. So to pick up a monitor box with styrofoam (as was mentioned earlier) would cover that angle.
