How is it that the UPS delivery man ALWAYS comes during the 10 minute period each day when no one is at home... *thud*
Hubby has to go to daughter's school to pick her up - no sooner leaves and BOOM Ups swoops in, leaves the little sticker and is gone again...
Since I pay with Paypal, I always have things sent to the Confirmed address - which is at home. But I'm going to start asking those shipping UPS to send them to my work address please...

Work addresses are cheaper to ship to... by $1.00 to $2.50 depending on if you're in the city, or out in the sticks.

I have it setup with the driver that if no one is home he leaves a note and puts the item on Will call
I then have 5 days to get by and pick it up
the ups office is convient for me and I usally pass it it 3 or 4 times a week so picking up the package is no problem
spock here......

Since the town I live in is virtually crime free (except for drunken domestic stuff on the weekends), I leave/receive my packages in the little mudroom in front of my home. Nearest UPS to me: 25 miles.
But yes, you're right, even though I'm often home all but an hour a day, he comes when I'm not here. I think they train them that way.

Isn't this why they created Mail Boxes Etc.? (I realize it is not an option for everyone) but since I went to using them as a business address 5 years ago, this is just one less thing I need to worry about.
