I am a Canadian, and I want to start selling items on Ebay. I have a Paypal account set up to start accepting payments, but I would like to be able to accept Billpoint as well. It seems as though they do not accept Canadian bank accounts.
Does anyone have any recommendations for US banks that I can open an account from here in Canada, and that I can easily transfer money to other accounts in other banks?

Have you tried getting an account at an American bank in Toronto, perhaps the Bank of America?
I know in the states I see Canadian banks in the major cities. And I know American banks are all over the world. You can call one of the American banks in Toronto and ask them, someone there can probably answer your question.

Security First Network Bank of Atlanta GA is owned by Royal Bank of Canada and is used by snowbirds to make banking accross the border easy.
You can web bank fom anywhere you can beg or borrow access to a browser.
I liked then but we had some kind of problem we could never figure out with their e-mails getting to me days late. Otherwise I would syill be using them.
