OK !!!! EVERYONE CAN THEY PLEASE EMAIL THEMN RIGHT NOW ??
Tell them that they need to give you some kind of idea, as to why there site is not working . I emailed them last night and normally they email back a small letter saying they are working on it . I normally get adverge customer service and have read others that get bad customer service . I have now started to notice there customer service going down. I have emailed about questions many times and gotten no answers . I am now one of the people , you hear on the message board saying the customer service is slow or none. I do not want to say ( DO NOT USE THEM ) there service works well, but it is fustrating when you are trying to run a bussiness. So i am firing off a letter, right now asking AGAIN why there service is not working

In their defense... Please keep in mind that VRANE does not subscribe to the eBay Developer service.
Now that eBay has monetized its interface, it certainly seems reasonable to me that it will take steps to eliminate those web services which do not pay. Just like the y took steps to address the "fee leakage" problem with off-site sales.
It seems very reasonable to me that eBay will now make changes to its web pages on a regular basis, probably minor or even invisible to the user, but that will break services like vrane.
So please be patient, they are fighting a constant uphill battle to keep up with eBay's changes. And remember not to complain too loudly when a free service breaks. You got what you paid for!

PAID FOR THIS SERVICE relisting??
I understand what your saying but to not inform your customers, is what i am saying . I pay for a good service that when works runs well !!!. But when you email them and they do not answer the questions you pose to them . That's what fustrating , it's not free when you pay for it

Same troubles here with Vrane. I pay them for relists as well as automatic end of auction emails for my customers. Last night was the 3rd weekend in a row I had to manually contact HUNDREDS of winning bidders, since Vrane was not functioning and I unfortunately counted on them, or at least a response to my e-mails.

the reason I started this thread is because their support board never seems to reflect the problems that they are having, after trying for over an hour I posted over here to see if I was the only one.
I couldn't do all that I do without vrane, or at least do what I do and still have time to do something else.
I wish that they would post problems on their status board or on the page with the tool. If they would let you know what was going on people wouldn't clog them up with emails they feel they need to answer when they could be spending that same time on fixing the problems. I'm sure that vrane is just one guy sitting there pulling his hair out when ebay makes a change.
I for one won't bug him and will just wait for the fix.

Sorry to hear the paying customers are having the same problems as we freeloaders are...
I haven't been able to log in since yesterday afternoon...
Definitely pays not to put a higher bid in that snipe list than one is willing to live with...*G*
What's interesting is that the log-in functionality is impaired, which to me would have nothing to do with eBay unless Vrane has taken their functionality completely offline to make some fixes. AFAIK, the rest of the web site is working fine...you just can't do anything there.
I do recall them moving servers or locations or something last month....maybe delayed teething pains...
Pat
edited to add that even reaching the service payment pages isn't possible...that's not a good thing...

Yes, the server move really seems to have caused them a lot of trouble. And I do agree that their status could be kept better updated. I also agree that vrane is probably only one person, certainly a very small number, and they are good at what they do. I sympathize with them.
And I do pay for relists too and it is aggravating when it breaks down. But your two choices are, pay 1¢ per relist and it's down occasionally - or pay 25¢ per relist because vrane had to join eBay developer to keep abreast of the never ending changes.

I think Vrane is trying to make themselves look and operate so bad that Ebay might reconsider acquiring them.

The reverse DNS trace ends at Harvard.net and then black holes...
I tried all the vrane domains I have in my files...
Hopefully it's not a major meltdown....I wish I knew the DNS of their snipe server to see if it's up...I've got snipes on for tomorrow morning...hmmm

God, this is a shame about Vrane. Although
in my experience with them, their services had problems 60 percent of the time, they definitely had a good thing going. I still haven't gotten any responses to my emails to them either, so I guess I'm out some money and a LOT of time.
Anyone know of a similar service/website out there like Vrane, without having to buy an entire software program? I'm especially in need of a way to notify many bidders quickly, with all the item numbers pre-filled out.
Thanks,
Jack

I don't understand this, why can't the Vrane person just post on this board and let us know the nature and duration of the problem? I'm sure he/they know about this board and that so many rely on it for info.
Maybe they're preparing an email to send to all their users instead? I'm upset because I had a bunch of relists I wanted to do since yesterday!
Geez.....

Let me pose a couple of questions about vrane
1) it has to be a one person show?
2) when it works it works great ?
3) maybe they themshelves can not access the site as well
4) if it is a one man show could he be sick?
last thing did'nt ebay release upgrade verions of bulker lister and do they make it easier to relist .. i am at the point that i am willing to buy a relisting program of service ...that does not charge a % for the item sold

Not trying to give them excesses but if they are in the national guard they could have been called up last week many of them to be reporting to posts last Friday as far as I know for them all to be in place by Monday.
Also this is a holiday weekend they could just be gone for the weekend.
If they are to where they can get to a computer you would think that they would put something on the status board. In any case I wouldn't plan on an answer to any emails, I found out long ago they usually fix the problem then let you now it is fixed instead of wasting time answering emails.

Any update on the status of Vrane? Has anyone heard from them about the problems we've had? I just tried to login and the login page wouldn't load.
I use the Auto Mailer, and if my EOA e-mails won't be e-mailed out today, I better get crackin' and mail them out manually!!

It looks like vrane.com is pulling a photopoint on us, ie, disappearing with no warning or contact with it's paid/non-paid customers.
It's refund time, and even the excuse makers gotta admit that this situation is being handled badly by vrane. If you're in business and you accept money from customers to perform a service, you are obligated to said customers, or therefore do not offer said services. Nuff said.

My guess (and this is ONLY a guess) is their having more server problems... they recently converted to new servers and I think they were causing a lot of problems - maybe the problems got worse? I know lots of people have emailed the Webmaster and gotten nothing...
