I can't send any e-mails but I can receive them. This started last week with items I purchased on Ebay. I know about the virus but it has been repeatedly said that it didn't affect buyers. I receive an error message that says in part "message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by server.....closes with domain isn't in list of allowed rephosts". I am having to request selers phone numbers to let them know I indeed want their items. Please help!! I am not a computer expert.
Thanks!! I use Out Look Express and Net Zero.

Can you send any email at all? It sounds like you might be trying to do a Group email. Can you send singles?
Are you running a good Anti-virus program with current DAT files? Are there emails stuck in your Outbox? If there are, delete them and compress the folder.

I had this problem not too long ago. It did start from a virus, though I can't remember the name of it (sorry!). What happenes is the virus comes in through your email and resets all of your security settings in Outlook Express. Which causes you to not be able to send email. You need to fing a way to contact your ISP (NetZero correct?)~ by phone is probably the quickest way, and find out what your email settings should be at, then reset them. Once you do that, you should be just fine.

Meya, these emails are just sitting in my outbox. I can't get them to move to items sent. Do you think it is a virus?

You most likely need to delete them from your outbox and try again.
Are you sending separate emails? After deleting those in your Outbox, compress the folder, and try to send one email by itself.
And, use Hotmail or Yahoo mail to attempt to email one of the email addresses you have trouble with. It may be that the "domain" you are trying to email has blocked email from NetZero due to spammers. But, that would cause the email to Bounce back to you, it wouldn't cause it to get stuck in your Outbox.
