I have had a number of people ask me if I could add a buy it now to my auctions.

I had not had much success in the past with this option.

The auctions that I had that option on didn't even get looked at as many times as the auctions without this option.

Now however this seems more appealing to people than when this option first began.

My question is..how do you come to a price for Buy It Now? I sell both new items, and used or antique/collectable items. Your ideas would be helpful.

I don't usually set a Buy It Now price on items I'm not too familiar with. With all the rest, I think about a price that I'd be happy with, then I increase it a bit more.
