Short and sweet, but I had to post this to let
people know that despite the bidder's that
short sellers for shipping, there are good people out there.
I had a buyer pay by check and when it arrived,
I noticed he didn't include shipping. I wrote to him and said very politely that I was sure he made an honest mistake and I would still ship ASAP but to please send shipping if you don't mind.
It was $3.00 so I felt that I would take a chance and trust him to send the amount. It seemd kind of like reciprocity to me. After all, my buyers routinely send checks and MO's and assume that I will follow through and
send the item.
He wrote me back and apologized and said the $3.00 was on the way.

I normal ship Tuesday and Friday. I have winners that ask me to ship when I get payment because the auction closed on Monday night and they need it on Friday. I always ship it for them no matter what the day is. But some winner will actual pay me more for going out of my way. I NEVER ask for it. Once I got $20.00 extra to ship it Fed Ex next day! Some bidders are GREAT!
