I was just looking at some auctions and a bunch of them had the same high bidder, so I did a search by bidder and got the following message:

German privacy laws do not allow us to pass on information involving bidders from Germany. If you want to find all auctions this user has bid on, please contact the
user directly by email.

Very interesting ....I wonder if this works in the opposite direction ...any thoughts people?

I'm from the UK and have sold a fair few items to Germans. Believe me when I say that as a country it is "hot" on the privacy and confidentiality allowed to it's citizens. Never caused a problem as they've all been great buyers though.
