I don't understand why the seller started the thread.

(yes, HIS actions. I also don't understand when he went out of his way to point out that he is a man.)

From what I was able to gather, the seller had atleast one sale where the buyer immediately left neg feedback and was getting hostile emails from other bidders/sellers.
Now, while I personally deplore the tone & direction of his TOS, I have to ponder whether his deciding not to sell to Florida is really all that much different from those sellers who refuse to ship to Hawaii and Alaska.
I personally hate to see anyone refusing service to certain areas of the country but there are those who won't ship to Hawaii & Alaska because of costs.
I know I've ordered items where there are restrictions on what states it can be sent to, so it's not unprecedented in mail order sales not to ship to certain states.
Again, I am NOT condoning the fear attitude.

At least the sellers refusing to ship to AK or HI have a reason.
Not everyone goes to the post office, and you can send packages to AK and HI via UPs and Fed Ex ONLY via air, increasing the shipping price quite a bit.

The seller is correct, he has a right to refuse mail payments from Florida.
He also has the right to be ridiculed, often,loudly and without mercy. But auction interference and email abuse is equally rotten behaviour. I just hate that a seller is responsible for creating more fear.It's going to be tough enough to calm buyers, who have no choice but to RECEIVE the package without helpful sellers like this fueling the fire.

Anyone who thinks that this stuff is limit to postal mail should know that in Albany NY there is a UPS truck right now being held for testing White powdery stuff found from a package the truck is full of packages that may never be able to be delivered.
as well two local banks shut down when bags of money arrive with powder Not money from costomers, this money came in on the armored Truck.
and the radio station in albany that had two letters over the weekend is quartined again after receiveing yet another package with no return address, postmark was from outside the country..
