I was leaving feedback today to guy with a zero rating. It was a good transaction and I
was happy to leave him a positive.
I mistakenly (it was a result of cutting and pasting) entered the item number for feedback
and NOTHING ELSE. I clicked the leave comment
button before I checked what I wrote (DUMB mistake). I e-mailed [email protected]
and explained the situation and asked them to fix it so I could leave a real comment.

Assuming ebay doesn't help me out, is there any other way to help correct this?
Is there a way to respond to my own comment
so that others know it is a mistake?

If you plead to the right person at ebay they "may" do something.

Otherwise your buyer can respond and then you can respond to his comment with a positive comment.

You don't have to wait to make a "follow-up" feedback comment. Go to your feedback page and follow the links to "follow-up on feedback comments" There will be a little envelope, when you choose that, it allows you to make more comments or add to the one you already left.
