Same buyer won eight different actions on the same night. I combined shipping which saved buyer lots of money. Now buyer is telling me they can't pay for items right now and asking me if they can make payments! They have 9 feedbacks.
I don't want to do this but am worried that if I don't they will give me 8 negatives in a row. (got 5 bad negatives from kids who had bid/won once and parents didn't know anything about it...this took 5 weeks for ebay to clear them off).
Anyway am wondering if there is any way I can cancel these completed auctions and relist so this buyer cannot give me bad feedback and I can get my money from a sincere buyer. This buyer is also still bidding on my current auctions!

Not much you can do with the completed auctions, but if someone owed me for 8 auctions and told me they couldn't pay for them, but was still bidding on my stuff, I'd block them from bidding, and cancel any bids on open auctions.

Personally I agree with you, I wouldn't want to start this practice either...good luck. I think they will need to learn this lesson the hard way...pay it within your time frame stated in the auction, and then turn them in. Try politely and firmly expressing that you really reduced the shipping charges and you can wait till X amount of date for payment. Hope they understand.

Been there, done this:Make them pay 50% upfront,Hold all items, set a final payment date 3months 4months whatever works for you.If payment is not received he forfits monies and items. It works and could well work out great for you.Done this four times 2 meet their deadlines ,2 I've never heard from agian,it's a bonus.

The first thing I would do is to check up on them and see how many other auctions besides yours that they have been bidding on.

Regarding ijusthaveit's suggestion: The bad news is if they deadbeat it will probably be too late for you to leave feedback. The good news is that they can't either.

Either way I would politely but firmly put a stop to their bidding until they have paid for what they have already won.

1) Don't ship until all money is paid
2) Tell them there's a 25% non-refundable downpayment required to place items on layaway (so if they don't complete the payments, you keep the items & the 25%).
3) Allow them to pay over whatever timeframe they want, but charge the maximum interest allowable by law for your state
4) Block their user ID from bidding on any future auctions of yours.

Good luck. There's no excuse for a buyer not asking about payment terms BEFORE bidding on a bunch of stuff. They deserve the worst...
