Hello. I don't know if I'm all alone in this, but in the course of doing business on ebay, I am constantly asked for my user name and password, even when it was given for a different ebay function just moments ago.
A few months ago, someone posted some type of html code that allowed users to sign in with the click of one button. After getting my computer repaired, that same html code won't
work (or ebay changed their code again).
Anyone got an easy way to sign-in to ebay using one-click html code? If it matters, I use Netscape 4.7, and even when I check the
"keep me signed in" box, it often does not
keep me signed in.

Check your Preferences/set-up tab on My eBay. Go to the bottom where it says "sign-in activities"... Click on "modify your sign-in activities".
There are a few options there to check off for different circumstances if you want to have to sign in or not.
One thing to make sure of is at the bottom, where it says "Preferred Sign-In Method"... It says that you must have "eBay User ID and password" checked off (and not microsoft passport) in order for the "keep me signed in on this computer until I sign out" option that's above to work.

I solved this problem with a product named Keyboard Express. I'll not try and explain everything this program does but let you look for yourself.
This is their explimation of what it does:
Keyboard Express: Windows Keyboard Macro. Enter text or auto-capture for easy
playback. Over 500 hot keys. Add current date, time, delays, pauses and
symbols. Use globally or for specific window. Schedule macros to play
anytime and anywhere.

Look under products for Keyboard Express. There was a 30 day free trial period when I got it. I am also a Netscape user and I wouldn't be without this program.

This is a link to the Keyboard Express home page. This will explain how it works.

i hated this too, but the other day while signing in I notice under my password there was a little box that said something like "keep me signed in until I sign out". so i checked it and havn't had to sign in since. i dont know if this is new or i just never paid attention to it.
