I was wondering if anyone could tell us how to clean old vinyl records. We bought a bunch of really old ones at a garage sale this weekend and would like to clean them. I have heard about using 3in1 oil and water. If this is a good idea what proportions? Also I seem to remember years ago there was some kind of cloth that could be bought to clean records? Thanks!

you can use a soft cloth and some rubbing alcohol, THey also sell record cleaning kits Cd cleaning kit would work as well but they are basically the same thing as a soft cloth and alcohol.
