Sue: Actually they pretty much SUCK every night!

AW has changed a great deal. I have never clicked on a pop up ad, EVER! nor will I. I wonder how many people here actually do click on these useless ads.

Anyone??

There are some programs you can download that eliminate the pop ups. I don't remember the links but I was looking for them earlier today while I was reading the message boards and having to close all those STUPID, ANNOYING windows that popped up on every single click of my mouse.

AW is nearly as bad with the pop-up screens as many of the adult web sites. Not that I ever looked or anything.

If anyone has the links to these sites with the downloads please help us out here!

By the way why did AW start adding these pop up windows? Does annoying message board patrons really generate much revenue? Just curious.

This is from the site.

Never again be bothered by pop-up windows while surfing the web.

PopNot is an advanced pop-up advertisement suppressor that prevents annoying pop-up windows from appearing as you surf the web, with no need to set up for particular websites or keywords.

Unlike other pop-up killers, PopNot prevents pop-up windows from ever appearing -- there's no need to wait while a new pop-up window appears and disappears; even more importantly, it won't incorrectly close new browser windows or interfere with web navigation.

Are you listening AW?? We don't wan't your stupid pop up windows interfering with surfing.

BLOCK, BLOCK, BLOCK!!!

I use netscape and I am not getting any pop-ups at all. You may want to try disabling your javascript in IE, that may help.
