When eBay changed the rules for links on 09/19/2001 two of the rules are very contraadictary
"You may also link to a page where information relating to your eBay or Half.com items is grouped in a picture gallery or similar format so long as the page otherwise complies with these policies. This gallery page may also contain discrete links to other pages that offer items for sale outside of eBay, but may not contain descriptions of or links to individual items on other sites. "

"When linking to a page that further describes the item you are selling, that page may contain links to other pages that offer items for sale outside of eBay. This is permitted, provided the intent of the link is to further describe your item and the link conforms to the policy above.

We got suspended for providing a link thats main intent was to describe our product and to answer our FAQ's we provided our name to which our checks are to be written out to(which is a .com name) this lead us to suspension.

Seems like ebay is suspending everyone these days.

Ya know, ebay would be NOTHING if not for us sellers. You'd think they'd work with us a little more.

Very non-appreciative & ungrateful.

i get totally turned off when i read an item page and see all that big logo, fancy footwork and terms of sale and who we are and what we do and what we want from the bidders.
there are many bidders who surf everynite,if it takes too long to load, they just move on.
i myself dont care to read the details of the terms or life history of the seller.
now you are asking us to go to another page for more of your terms etc,FORGET IT!!!!
one seller would state that they dont accept personal check and if bidder sent personal check ,it will be returned and expected to add return postage to the money order they should be sending.
well,i look at what they sell and i almost fell off my chair-old,cheap plastic stuff from their basement.
so quit being so self centred, keep it simple, why should your terms be so different than the other one million sellers out there, those veteran bidders know how to bid, they know how to send payment, they are not interested in terms, your terms should not be any different than what most sellers offer and it does not require a separate page linked to the item.
how many bidders are really going to click and read more terms??
wake up!!!!!!!!!!!
