Before I listed my auctions with AW, I used Andale...Actually I used them when they were "Honesty". When they switched to "Andale", I decided I did not like their services etc....not user friendly and hard to use (for me anyway). So, I switched to AW and things are so much easier now. My problem...Andale is continuing to charge me even tho I have closed my acct with them. When I signed up I chose the plan for 3.00 a month. I listed around 15 auctions through them and finally decided it was not worth the hassle. For 4 months time they have charged me over 70.00. Anyway, I cannot contact them now since my acct is closed and they will not respond to emails...the emails I send to them are responded back from an automatic reply. I have tried to look up info on my old acct and can't. They have no 800 number listed anywhere. Does anyone know how I can get in contact with them? Any info would be appreciated. thanks.

Are they charging your credit card? Call the 800 number for that card and dispute the charges. That will shake someone loose.

You're one of hundreds caught in this situation. What I did was to go on to the OTWA boards and post my story and one of the techs came along and just to shut me up took care of closing down the account. But I was still billed on my last bill so I sent a copy of all the emails the tech and I had exchanged to my credit card company along with an explanation, including the info that they were pulling this same shoddy trick on hundreds of their 'clients' and that they had been reported over and over to the BBB in their city. I emailed a copy of my letter to Andale and haven't heard another thing from them.
It is instructive to read the outrage expressed on the OTWA boards; safe to say that Andale has lost just about all the good will that came with Honesty and it's only a matter of time before this ship sinks.

Not to sound completely ignorant, but what are the OTWA boards? I have only recently been on this forum...I am not familiar with the different forums and boards out there. Do wish I had been on this one from day 1 tho...have already learned a few things!

Online Traders Web Alliance... these are the community forums where Andale has its customer support center. I don't think I'm permitted to post the URL but try something like community.otwa.com

I just received this afternoon after I had closed out my account with them about 3 months ago a letter stating that I am signed up for the $3.00/month program. I immediately emailed them back with a return receipt telling them if they did charged my credit card, I would dispute the charges.
I received this response immediately back.
Thanks for your response.
Please know that we will research and personally respond to your reply in the order in which it was received. Because we believe that each situation deserves detailed individual attention it may take us up to two weeks to respond.
Please do not send duplicate responses, we will reply to all inquiries in the order in which they were received.
Thank You,
Andale Billing Department
Two weeks? What the heck, just do it now. To contact them, their email is [email protected]

I saved all responses from ANDALE when I closed down in July. I used them sporatically and since learned to host my own pix! What a joy to have worldnet (att)!
HI SHOSH old friend who taught me all!

Sorry to learn of your problems. I cannot understand why folks do not use their ISP to host pics for free. Unless you have several thousand pics, you will get enough space. If not change your ISP!

I'm having the exact same problem and was delighted to see this being discussed here on the boards. I cancelled July 24th and am still being charged. Customer Support replied to me today but not with a solution only with directions on how to cancel my account and a reminder that since I had used their service for part of October I would be billed for the entire months. Grrrr!
Enough with it. I'm calling my credit card company tomorrow morning.
