Does ebay offer any fee discounts for high volume sellers? I just saw a seller (gag80) with 700 listings per week, and each item (vintage ads) selling for $3.75. How is it possible that the money he gets is worth all that work?? It seems like more work than a real job.

No discount that I know of. If this person sells the same thing over and over, he might have auction management that really reduces the workload of relisting and notifying. That is a lot of listings for such a low amount though!

these ads could cost a few pennies to him,no more than 25 cents.
so if he has a 60% sell thru and he uses software to list,it is still good money to him.
these days the bidders are looking to bid on something low priced.
call it an addiction, keep bidding every nite and keep getting something in the mail.

This seller only has a 10% sell-through. It looks like they are doing an awful lot of work for so little return.

He's definitely using software (Seller Assistant Pro), so it's probably not a huge amount of work to list all those auctions. My big concern would be making money. He can't be making much more than about $3.00 per sale. Even with a big volume, the per-transaction nickel and diming takes away a big chunk.
