I am listing an old glass dish that came out of my father-in-law's mothers estate, so I know it is old. Most of her dishware was from the 1930's-40's.
I have this little glass dish that I am having trouble identifying. The edges are kind of sharp.
I'll try and get a picture up for you in just a minute. Any help would be So appreciated!
TIA!
Let's see if the photo works: (There are two)

Ugh! I can't find the link that tells me how to add photos here so if anyone can make a link, that would be great!

It is very heavy and it does ring when I tap it.
I don't see any colors when I hold it up to the sun but my eyes are not so great sometimes, so I can't tell if it does or not.

Hello!
American Cut glass died out before the 1950's and at that time, it looked like pressed glass. The older pieces will have cuts all over- should NOT have any clear glass withoUT designs!
May I suggest a vist to your local library to view REAL cut glass?

This is not brilliant cut glass, but a kind of glass with cut flowers etc. This sort of design has to be cut by hand not pressed in a mould. It could be Czech or Scandinavian, probably from between the wars. I think these are called 'nappies' but I don't know what that means. Dale
