And what do your sellers have to say about this lateness in shipping?

one says its been shipped, and the other three does not return emails, calls etc. ebay can't or won't do anything.

Are the purchases of an amount to consider filing w/Lloyds for insurance?
Did you pay w/check, money order or credit card? If you paid w/a credit card, initiate a chargeback for items not received.
If you paid by check, have the checks been cashed? If so, consider filing a mail fraud report.

Yes, I have seen an increase with NPBs and with scam sellers. I have had only two problems buying items on E-bay and now I have been scammed twice buying American Patriotic Items since the WTC tragedy. This is disgusting... E-Bay did naru one of them but they have done nothing about the second guy. Not only has he not sent the item I won, it looks pretty strong that he was guilty of shill bidding and feedback padding. He even hung up on me when I called him. I have reported him to E-Bay and PayPal but no response yet. This guy even had the nerve to ask me to leave him positive fb immediately after the auction ended saying he had to have at least 10 opositive that night!
I have 4 current NPBs and their excuses are really something. "My modem was struck by lightening." "I am afraid to go to the post office to mail the check." "My grandmother died in Ohio a month ago and I am still upset." One even had the nerve to say, "A friend of a friend of a friend was in NY on 9/11/01 and I am very stressed out."
Anyone else getting crazy response?

Could you explain the troll comment, it seemed like a reasonable discussion, is something going over my head?

People in ummmglass house should not keep on throwing stones in every thread. Course lack of manners could be the reason....
To the original poster> Yes fraud and auction interferance seems to be on the rise. As always, Ebay does little or nothing...ho hum...

I have been having very sloooow deliveries lately as well, which could be the problem. I just had a 4 ounce first class package take 30 days to go from PA to CA. Several others are approaching that same time frame and I am having a heck of a time keeping buyers happy as they wait.

jotyler,
Have you checked to see if those sellers are still running auctions?
Have you checked their latest feedbacks to see if anyone else is having problems?

all four have some Negative feedback , to are NARU. I paid with money orders they have been cashed . all four are under $50.00.
I don't understand the troll comment, Its true I just signed up today for aw, but I have been coming to this site to read the comments four a year, before I didn't really have anything to say. Just seems like in my 3 plus years on ebay I have had 2 problems and both was settled in a poistive way, and now I have 4 in a short time and I know I have been taken and I could understand maybe once but four something is going on and I think ebay covers up all the fraud they can so it will not scare members away , I could be wrong and I hope I am , but as soon as they think someone is commiting a scam that suspend that user and you cannot leave negative feedback so the scammer does not like as bad as he would if you could leave feedback what do you think?

Sorry, but if two are NARU, that doesn't look good for you.
Maybe you can get some help at this site. Another AW poster Kiawok posted the link here once before.

In the last week I've had 2 buyers paranoid to pay by electronic funds both of them stated they had recently been burned by sellers not sending merchandise. These bad sellers affect the rest of us that live up to our customer service. 1 almost backed out of the auction because I wouldn't do escrow, and I reminded her it was not an option in my auction payment methods. I finally ease their fears by sending them my SquareTrade page and letting them know about the protection fraud offered by SquareTrade. So whether your a buyer or a seller these sellers really are burning all of us with their bad tactics.

I hate ignorant bidders that don't read the TOS.
