Yep, that right. luvmy2bears has been reinstated! Persistance pays off.
I am still disappointed at ebays "guilty until proven innocent" approach to things, but alls well that ends well.
Lets all just cross our fingers that my "stalker" doesn't make any attempts at a 3rd NARU.
I WILL be changing my user ID & password though. And getting a PO box. You can never be to careful.
I just wanted to say thank you to ALL of you that responded with so much care and concern. I will not forget that.
*big hugs

Glad you're back. You might want to also start a brand new account and start working on getting some feedback on it. Even if you change your ID whoever is bothering you can still find you by typing in your old ID. Just a thought.

nowwhat (heehee I like your name)
I think I may just do that. I heard somewhere that you can combine feedback from 2 ID's. I may persue that avenue.

luv -- so glad things worked out. I've been having someone harrass me on one of my accounts, but nothing like what happened to you. . .
You can combine feedback but the account needs to be inactive for at least 6 months. Sounds like a wonderful thing for you to plan on doing. . . start selling under a totally different username, and in 6 months you can combine feedback. I think I'm going to eventually do that.

Glad to hear that it worked out for you.
If you have ever had problems with someone who left you feedback and then you changed your name or combined two accounts wouldn't they still be able to find you just by checking the feedback that they have left for others?
It would probably be best to start a whole new account or if you have a separate account for buying maybe use it to sell with now and start a new buying account.

Under the circumstances, it would be best to forego your old name entirely -- no point in combining feedback as anyone searching for luvmy2bears would still be able to find you (it would come up in a seller/bidder search).
Best to start with a clean slate. Open up a second ID and buy enough to get 10 feedbacks (first star) before starting to sell under that.

Okay, I KEPT my promise that things would get better.
Now I'm owed an apology from RB who dissed my optimism.

Start another ID.
Use a different credit card
Use a PO Box
Change the look and feel of your auctions
Let the other ID sit with no activity for a while.
That way the person may just go away if they think you are not doing anything.

I'm gald to see that things worked out for you, finally! I agree with the others who say you should cover your tracks by starting the new ID and lay low for a while. Especially changing the look and feel of your auctions. Sometimes it's so easy to find a person selling under 2 ID's due to how similar their ads are. Buying small inexpensive items is a good way to get the first 10 Positive Feedback. One word of caution, make sure you don't buy anything from your "personal fruitcake".
I would also NOT put the city where I live in my ad. You could use a generic term, such as The Cold North, Way Out West, etc., this may prevent this person from finding your new ID. No regional listings either. Some people put their zip code for their location. I wouldn't do this, it's too easy to use the reverse look up on a zip. You want to be open to your buyers, but incognito to the person causing you the problems. I hope every thing works out well for you!!

That's great luvmy2bears!
DON'T FORGET... if you start a new ID, put this bidder on your BLOCK list first off! In case she is looking for new victims...

It helps to be paranoid, sometimes.
For instance, I can find out that you are at AW boards through a search at Google on your user name. The fact that you use the same user ID as at eBay means that your stalker could do the same thing, and find these threads.

If you meant things would get better for luv, I apologize.
If you meant things would get better for eBay, which is how I read your prediction, then my comment still stands.

Do you think I'm insane? That kind of prediction would go against known history.

Congrats! eBay officials may not be so bad after all. They might be human. And you should be commended for your persistence! Best wishes for the future!

Just wondering how high up at eBay did your complaint go before they finally took action? Did you light a fire under Meg or something?
Wonder if it was the peons giving you the run around? There are people who will sidestep the non-decision makers and go straight to the top with their complaints and often get immediate action. Many times the top brass hate to risk bad publicity and will take quick action to make problems go away.

Actuall another AW'er emailed me with a name of someone (one of the lower "top brass" ~ with connections to the top "top brass" that may or may not be wlling to help.
I emailed her, referred her to my threads here, and made sure she had all of the details.
She was very willing to help. Though I have made a couple "stupid" mistakes, nothing was worthy of indefinate suspension.
Also I kept calling ebay. 2-3 times a day. And emailing daily. I emailed ANYONE I could find that worked for ebay. Erin & Robin at the wanted board, plus MANY others. Every email was identical ~ just the very short version of my story, and "If you think you may be able to help, or know someone who may, please let me know".
I never did get any explanations as to what exactly I did, or was reported to have done. At this point, I'm just glad to be back. I won't push the issue out of fear that they'll change their minds or NARU me just because I'm being a pain in the butt.
Thanks for all the great advise. I will be using most of it.
Bummer to lose all the feedback that took me 2 years to get. But better safe than sorry.
