This is from a Canadian but it could be from anybody. This week has Canada week. I also got a couple please put gift on the customs form. Yea right.

Please include with shipping amount, weight and method of shipping as I only pay exact shipping costs.

I explained they would pay what the auction stated or not pay at all and take that path to completion.

I think it is just the ones from B.C. that cause these problems Any Canadians lurking that want to back me up on that one. Hahahahaha.

Being a Canadian seller... to be perfectly honest, I'd rather not deal with Canadian buyers! They can be very demanding, always making special requests, expect to pay less for postage, even though it is often cheaper to send out of the country!!

Sorry you've had a run of bad luck. I've found my Canadian customers to be very friendly, incredibly patient & willing to put up with a lot of hassle to purchase & receive items.

I do offer a choice of air or surface but no-one has ever questioned my shipping charges. Yet.

I get the feeling some folks can't tell their pie hole from their arshole.

My Canadian buyers have all been GREAT.

One thing I think makes a few of them grumble is when you list a single high shipping charge for everyone outside the U.S., since they know that U.S. rates to Canada are still a good bit lower than rates to, say, Europe.

While I absolutely agree that bids have to be binding and you can't change terms after a sale, I also think it's just smart business for sellers to charge Canadians according to actual rates.

A typical listing for me for small item X might have postage at $2.50 for U.S., $3 for Canada and $5 for elsewhere in the world. It's slightly more work and more to keep track of, but I think the certainty of the cost and the fairness of the price has attracted more than my share of Canadian bidders (and winners) that might not have bid at all otherwise.

Congrats for thinking outside the box.

Mr.P - You can count on it.
