I have an inventory of about 25 or so items on Half.com that seems to be languishing. I culled another 20 or so after checking current lowest prices and just donating them after seeing 50+ items and lowest at $1 or less. Not worth bothering with.
So now, with only the potential "winners," is it worth dual-listing on Amazon Marketplace? If I read their TOS correctly it seems the 99 cents extra they want and the higher shipping allowance almost cancel each other out vs. Half.

sign up for Yahoo Warehouse---they haven't quite opened up shop yet/ still in beta testing but you can list youstuff and be ready for the 'grand' opening.

Amazon beats half.com hands down for me, even when I was paying 99 cents, because the stuff SOLD. I've since upgraded to the Merchant Pro account, which makes sense if you sell at least 40 books a month because it costs $39.95 and does away with the 99 cent fee. Also, the listings are automatically renewed so they stay on there instead of expiring after 30 or 60 days [whatever it is now].
I'm personally finding even AMazon to be sluggish just lately, so I am making a push to clean out my inventory, too. For a while I was planning to hang on to everything in case there is a FLD in December, but now I'm thinking that questionable possibility isn't worth hanging onto unsaleable books.
Plus, I've noticed in recent weeks that there are a lot more "buyer waiting" listings on Amazon now. These aren't the books selling for 50 copies on half.com, but if you find them, it's an automatic sale. Half.com has this too, but again, I haven't found one in ages and ages.

Many times the book I have is out of print and hard to find even on the internet. Because of the way Amazon has it set up people think the book will soon be available on Amazon for the published price. I have a crochet book listed there now that was printed in 1972. It is very sought after. There are 3 buyers waiting and it hasn't sold. I think it's because I have it priced at what it's worth, not what it was published at in 1972. I don't know if I've made this clear or not.

Hi,
Do any of you know if there is a listing of buyer waiting books on Amazon? (I should probably address this in the Amazon forum). For example, I have lots of old music history and theory books. Can I pull a list of "buyer's waiting" for the music book category instead of plugging in each isbn and hunt and peck for each book? Thanks for your response.
