I see all these different user names on Auction Watch. Some are easy to figure out, while some are not. So here is the chance to allow everyone to understand you user name, and if you like, how you chose it. This is bound to be fun and interesting. I'll start. Mine is Yeager. This is the name of the street that I grew up on as a child.

kadric is my husband. It is a name he used when he played D&D (dungeons and dragons). I took kadric 2 to make it easy for others to know who I was married too, which was only an issue at the time we started this. I just kept it so others would know me and know I wasn't a troll..haha.

I used to paint baby shoes, and my business was called "Kidsfeet".

It was also my Ebay name eons ago.

It will be retired, though. I can't post here after today, and I changed it to Loreebee at the "other place".

Take care.

Mine's simple if you are in "the horse world". My daughter rides 3 Day Eventing (aka Cross Country), hence the name.

I'm her chief chauffeur, groom, stable (or unstable according to some) hand & all around Fence Mom.

Easy -- it's my name.

But I don't use it at the other site.

Harmony Grove Antiques is the name of our B&M Antique Store.

The little town we live in; Commerce, Georgia, was originally called Harmony Grove at the turn of the century. It was changed to Commerce to promote business. We prefer the old name, obviously.

HarmonyGroveAntiques

(on Ebay too)

Atana is the name of a massive super cool warrior woman/bodyguard in a novel by David Eddings. I added the Lady, just becauseI like the sound of it.

This is not my name on Ebay.

 kiara

posted on October 31, 2001 08:16:12 AM
For several years I had a different name here until someone traced me to my auctions.

Kiara is a typo error. One of the Mods said I could change it but they said they liked it and so did my DH so I kept it.

This is the way I've been living my life all my life - living, loving & laughing like there is no tomorrow! Even more relevant since the events of 911.

"eleanordew" is from my Society for Creative Anachronism name, Eleanor de Wardon. (I'm in the Shire of Isenfir in the Kingdom of Atlantia, if anyone is interested.)

It's truncated because the older versions of AOL would only accept up to 10 characters, I think. Now I'm used to it that way ...

I used to post here under my eBay ID. Then, talk of crazies interfering with auctions prompted me to change my ID on this and other message boards. So, mypostingid is just that: "My Posting ID".

Commerce is about 50 miles NE of Atlanta, up I-85. It's famous for it's outlet malls.

peiklk is my email addy. PEI Development is the game of my company and klk are my initials.

I was a system admin for a novell network and our naming standard was 3 letters for department and 3 letters for name (initials in most cases). It stuck.

It's one of my favorite chapters in the Bible.
It tells how the Lord is always thinking about us and is always with us.
The Bible is my favorite book!
I like what Billy Graham said:
"Don't be afraid to invest in the best Bible you can afford--for that is what you are making: an Investment. Find out for yourself why it answers every human need, why it supplies the faith and strength that keeps humanity marching forward."

...and Abraham Lincoln:
This great book is the best gift God has given to man. But for it, we could not know right from wrong.

cin is short for cindy, and 1/31 is my birthday. it was my first logon at a job I had, 3 letters 3 numbers. It's also my ebay ID. Something easy that has stuck with me.

I am going to start changing my username in the next couple of months to 1sam1_27 {I prayed for this child and the Lord has granted me what I askded of him.} It's a long story, but after 13 years of marriage, we are adopting from VietNam.

Congratulations Cin131, After 13 years of marriage it takes a lot of courage to adopt a youngun. Life style certainly will change but I can attest that it will be a great change. We didn't adopt but I was 4 days short of 35 when I had my daughter and what a treat she is. We are best friends. Enjoy.

My user ID is my zodiac sign and 63 well, yes you guessed it my age when I signed up, just yesterday.
