Time to think of Warm Sunny Beaches and Crystal Blue Springs and Manatees. Christmas sales have ended for me last week. I have bought all I needed to buy. All I can think of, is soon I will have two weeks away from eBay and spend some some with my aging Dad in Florida. I need it bad. We intend to snorkel in the Keys, Visit a few Fresh Water Springs and play golf.

My "significant other" and I are going to be off to the French side of Saint Martin.
She will be reading her trashy novels and drinking pina coladas. I will be reading my mystery/suspense novels and drinking beer.
Every 30-40 minutes we get up, walk into the warm water, breathe deeply, and grin very silly grins. Then we get back into the chaise lounges for some more hard work (put on lotion, turn page, sip drink).

Nothing beats a hot crap table in a warm, inviting Vegas strip casino! And yes, I'm taking my aging mother along too. The Stratosphere revolving restaurant has a stunning view at night.

My football ticket auctions end tomorrow night and we finished up holiday shopping last night.
Late in the week my husband and I are off to the Gulf Coast of Florida. We rented a cottage on the beach, just across the street from a wine bar. By the time we leave there to come back home, I am sure that we will have beaten a path from the beach to the bar. I have purchased 5 books to take with me and a few new CDs for background music.
I am already in a better place just thinking about it.

I am off to visit Los Angeles and Las Vegas for about 18 days, could have never done that with my "regular" job. Leave on Tuesday...

I am going to go fishing 4 days a week in the beautiful sunshine in Florida. Of course I am lucky enough to do that 52 weeks a year but I never get tired of it.

In my previous post my use of the word WARM in VEGAS referred to INSIDE Vegas CASINOS--I know it's freezing outside! Does anybody know if the strip casino/hotels let you check coats? My Senior mom wants to know. Still can't wait for that sound of dice hitting the end of the craps table--"HARD EIGHT! PAY $35 NEXT TO ME!" And panoramic views from atop the Stratosphere Tower. My Christmas vacation lasts two weeks--and NO--I'm NOT trying to make anyone feel bad.
