1. I host a lot of my pictures on AOL. For the past two days when I try to upload pictures it goes through the process up to the point of loading. Could I be doing something wrong?

2. Keep getting emails from some customers that they can't view my auctions. The auctions come up to the point where they can't see my description or my pictures and ask me to email it to them. I've gotten enough of these emails to begin to wonder. Any help?

Hi I would suggest using AW. Even though you have to pay, it is certainly worth the price.
Every site has their down time and we haven't had a major one here in a long time here. I like the services that they offer, especially the enlarged photo and the store front. I don't use the store front for personally selling only for the gallery when someone at ebay enlarges the photo. I know they have some other excellent services but I haven't gotten into them and I doubt I will. This is just a suggestion.

aol pictures sometimes show up,sometimes not.this is bad for your auction.
search pastthreads on who else is offering picture hosting and how much besides auction watch.
you can also use ebay ipix, first picture is free, altho the result is not that good,

Thanks for responding I was begining to think I was invisible. How do you get the pictures at AW to enlarge like that when I list auctions through AW even with the listing program they are just normal images for some reason mine don't get that box around them that says click to make bigger I've only gotten on one of my auctions that I started a long time ago and I use to keep relisting the item. Any tips? Do I need to change something in my preferences?
I am still asking if anyone else has gotten emails from customers saying that they can't view their auctions. So if that has happened to you I would really like to know. I stopped putting any java script in so I know it is not that. I just have some borders and stuff now.

The most common reason some people can't see your images is a bad html tag. This usually affects Netscape users, whereas IE is a little more forgiving. Go to one of your auctions that someone wrote to you about and view it with both IE and netscape to see if that is the problem.

This is what people are telling me they can't see my auctions at all. This auction number is 1670593966 Please someone go to that auction for me and tell me if you can view it. PLEASE!

"I can
scroll down to the heading ESCRIPTION" and then it is blank from there.
Nothing comes up. I buy and sell on Ebay all the time and this has never
happened. Don't understand, Beth"

Hi,

It is a bad html tag somewhere. I couldn't see it with netscape but could with IE.

It looks great with IE 5.0 and Opera 5.0

The problem with your images not enlarging if you launched with AW is the setting in your Global preferences under the tab "my account". I can't remember exactly where.

Well I found out my problem. Ebay customer support wrote back and said it was a problem on their end. They said they worked as fast as they could to restore the problem and my listing are showing fine now. so they were down. this was over a period of two days. this is the second time this has happened to me. So glad I put that note in my auctions with a link to my email for people to ask me questions or I would never know that people couldn't view my auctions. Thanks all.!

I have not been able to upload photos to AOL for 4 days. I have contacted AOL 2 times and they say it is a problem with AOL and are working on it.
