Don't know if this question has been answered before, but I have seen this come up several times when looking over bidder feedback on ebay---I have seen several Ebay users over the last few weeks that have left feedback for other people or left responses to feedback that other people left for them that contained personal info such as phone numbers, email addresses, etc.
Aren't these types of things supposed to be monitored and/or removed by Ebay? I have an acquaintance on Ebay that leaves responses to feedback quite often that include personal info such as this, and if I was a customer of theirs, I sure wouldn't want my phone number displayed in their feedback profile for the world to see or use. If I report this to Ebay, would this person get in big trouble, or would the feedback simply be removed?
I was just curious as to the action Ebay would take in this situation. Thanks for your help!
