I can't get in all day. Is it crashed? Is anybody getting in? I didn't ship today, because I depend on the site to figure postage and print priority labels with free Delivery confirmation.
If you didn't know about this, if you print your shipping label on their site (you don't pay for the postage there, just print a special label), then Delivery Confirmation is free (Priority mail only). The label you print has the bar code and it's in their computer system. Be sure to tell the clerk at the PO not to charge you for delivery confirmation because many don't know about this.
In fact it's so deeply hidden on the web site I bookmarked it so I could find it again. Here is the link:

Thanks for the info. Too bad it prints out on an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. I use the smallest Priority boxes for shipping and the label would be too large. It sure would save time for me and my postal clerk.
I played around a bit and found that it didn't matter wether you chose the "print label" or the "print DC" option, both print a label with DC on the bottom and according to the site it's on an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper which you then cut and tape to the box, but you can't tape over the bar code.

Actually they designed the label to be cut out of the paper you print, leaving the receipt for your records, The part you put on the box fits ALL Priority boxes.
Also, disregard the part about not taping over the label. DO tape over it with thin clear packaging tape. Use the cheapest clear tape they sell at Office Max or one of their big competitors. You can buy them in rolls of 6 or boxes of 36 for less than $1 per roll. This tape is MUCH handier to use than the more expensive thicker stuff for all your packaging.
The reason for taping over the label is to protect it. You certainly don't want a thin piece of paper getting torn off....not with the address written on it. Some Suit at the PO who never did any real work mede up this rule in the instructions, perhaps worrying that the scanner couldn't read the bar code through the tape. But it does. Use tape to cover the entire label. The clerks won't object at the local PO.

One curious thing about the label you print. It prints out an extra page with just a few non-necessary lines whenever i print one. What a waste of paper. Can you imagine how many trees are cut and waisted just because of this one boo-boo in programming?
While we're on the topic, I figured out how to improve the lives of all of us who occasionally (or every day) waste our time waiting in line at the Post Office. I could talk about all the silly things that are done at the window while 30 people wait, but I can cure almost all of them with one solution:

ZZ. Clear your cookies and everything completely. I couldn't log on yesterday and thought it was the site but I finally just cleaned everything up (I surf too much!) and shut down, restarted my computer and logged on immediately.
As for the two sheets of paper, when my print option comes up, I make sure I check the box "print page 1 of 1" so I don't waste paper.

I'm having no problem getting in..I've been doing labels all day.
My PO has requested that I use the clearer tape over my labels (I was using Staples cheapy..but I don't even like how much it tries to stick to itself..I end up with a mess sometimes, so I prefer the better tape). The postmistress felt that since the rule is clear that you not use tape and you are suppose to use a laser printer, they are doing us a favor allowing us to use our inkjets,AND put tape on..so I'll do what they want (she said that not me). She said if it didn't scan becasue the tape wasn't clear enough, then the fault would be mine. I'm so happy saving the money (even though they only scan it when it arrives, and sometimes the mailmen forget even then LOL)that I'll jump through the hoops.
I put the second piece of paper in (duh, why didn't I think of only printing first sheet) for the next label, so I don't waste any.

My response...
If you adjust the top and bottom margins in your page setup before printing the eDelivery Confirmation, it will print out on one page. My printer defaulted the top and bottom margins of .50. I changed it to .25, and it used only one piece of paper.
I hope that helps you and anyone else having this problem.

This may or may not work for you but it does for me.
First I use the Avery full sheet self sticking labels.
When the whole page is done loading, I print out the mailing label only.
This is done the same as if you might print out a picture off a web page, infact it shows the label as a graphic.
The two ways I know of are:
Left click on label
Right click
Choose Print picture/Graphic (not sure)
Only the label prints.
The other way is with Explorer 6.0 where you get the little picture toolbar popup when you left click on a picture.
When the label prints, I cut it off the full sheet and when I'm ready for the next one, I put the half sheet in the printer. If I'm doing two labels at the same time, I just flip the sheet over and stick it back in.
I usually have AW open in a 2nd window and directly input the confirmation number at the same time.
I'm not concerned about getting the receipt stamped since the Del. Confirm reports received through AW about 10 pm that evening.
