Hello,
Today I received a money order from a buyer with no name on the envelope or the money order and no item number or description. I do not currently have any items waiting for payment for the amount sent.
I do have a return address only and I was wondering if there is any type of service that would allow me to search an address only for a name and phone number so that I can contact this person.

Well, you can always return the MO with a note. I hate it when people assume that they're paying for the only auction you've ever run in your life or you're supposed to just know who they are by their name... Or you can keep the MO until they ask what's going on.

Hello Again,
I cannot use the AnyWho because I do not have their name. I only have an address. But thanks anyway.
Yes, I cannot believe this buyer. No name on the envelope and they never even signed the money order. I don't even have a closed sale for the amount he sent.
I make it so clear in my ads that they must give me a name and either item number or description when they send the payment. And, of course, this buyer never filled out the WBN info. This is a real pain in the kazoo!!

Make a list of all the auctions for which you haven't been paid. Say that number is ten. The next nine people who pay you will probably not include the person who sent the check. Then the person who hasn't paid will become the person who paid first. Then you can email that person and explain the delay.
Before the above scenario plays itself out he or she will probably email you to find out what is going on. Most problems seem to take care of themselves with time.
