I opened up my mailbox hoping for a good payment day (needed it) and instead discovered that someone wrote me a bad check. Thankfully I still have the item and am just out the bank fee, but what a dissapointment!
I emailed the guy but I doubt I will hear from him. He has been NARU'd and it seems that a few other sellers have also recently been paid with bad checks too.
SIGH!
C'mon free listing day-- I need something to cheer me up!

I have found it helpful it the past, depending on the amount of the check, to discuss the matter of your local Postmaster, although I would wait till after Christmas for that; as well as place a call to the police district in the bad-buyers area. Many States can be very agressive on collecting on bad paper. Next there are several collection agencies that specialize in auction non-payment collection. Last but not least, and one of my personal favorites, is to let the writer of the bad paper know that you will be placing the bounced check up for auction, with a nice large scan of all their information for the world to see.

Oh I love that! Not that I would really do it, but my evil side had a really good laugh!
I thought I still had the item and it turns out that I just mailed it a few days ago (Ugh again), so if I don't get any response I will be visiting the post office to fill out the mail fraud form (or whatever it is) after the holidays.

want to hear a joke?
i have a shop in cyberspace and i offered different payment methods including BILL ME.
someone chose bill me and when i email him and said how would he like to pay,i never hear from him.
i took out BILL ME,so no more bill me in my shop.
yesterday, someone went thru my payment methods and cant find BILL ME,so he chose BILLPOINT,may be he thinks BILL ME & BILLPOINT are cousins.
