I am very new to this. Mostly I am listing auctions as a hobby. With only 11 auctions down, I have already gotten my first non-pay.

What do all of you do in this situation? We are only talking about $25, but still I am out the listing fee and the commission.

Thanks,
Brian

Here's a good place to start:

How long since EOA? If the buyer never sent a confirmation email, start the FVF refund process after 10 days from EOA. If they did confirm, you may want to send a reminder notice.

I've had buyers who ignored my emails, left them negs, filed FVF refund, and a week later the payment comes (which is about 5 weeks after EOA). Some aren't deadbeats, just busy people living chaotic lifes.

It really doesn't matter what the amount is; file an NPB notice after 10 days and get your FVF credit ten days later if the money does not show up. Then relist the item. I find that conscientious people pay up and those who don't won't. No need to babysit a bidder. If they are too busy to pay on time, that's not your problem.
