..what site would you sell them on. Nothing that I got would go over a couple bucks. I was thinking Yahoo but wasn't sure if one of the smaller sites would be better as far as sales.

Our sports card sales are really dropping in the final price. No matter what site we are on you are getting on avg 5% to 15% of book value. If you have graded cards, you would do somewhat better. Just tons of people selling cards on all of the auction sites.

eBay is still the best site for selling sportscards. With low values under $10 it is generally not worth listing them as you can only expect $1-2 as a bid if you even get bids. Your costs of listing & FVF will eat you up.
The best thing you can do with low value cards is to put them in lots such as by player, years, Hall of Famers or rookies to create higher value listings with book values of $20 up. Still you should only expect 15-35% of value in bids.
If you have decent quality older cards you can expect bids of 50-75% of book value sometimes much more depending on the issue and player. Graded older cards also have somewhat higher returns. Newer graded cards are dropping rapidly in value as population reports increase.
You should always use pictures with your listings and accurately describe the card's condition to mazimize your return.
