If you take the %% off of the %%goober%% etc.
Will they still work.
To me it seems tacky to send an e-mail to %%goober%%. I would much rather send it to just plain goober

The double percent signs are >not< actually sent to the person when the e-mail is sent.

They are merely identifiers to the AW code that a variable is supposed to be substituted at that point ( winner name, auction venue, your name, etc).

If any of your winners actually get the %% with no substitution, I'm sure they'll contact you. You should immediately post to the Auction Manager forum - and list the auction number that was affected.

You can also set it so that you receive a copy of the mailed WBN and validate what they got.
