he must trust you enough to send cash,or in germany it cost too much to get you an intl money order.
he should know to disguise it well, like placing them between 2 post cards and/or have it sent registered so he knows you have received it.
if i recall, you are in egypt,so you may want to clue him on how to send cash to egypt??

I've received a couple of payments from the UK and Canada in cash. No problems at all. The only thing that makes me nervous when customers tell me they are sending cash is that cash is absolutely untracable should someone along the way decide they need your money more than you do. You can't prove you didn't get it and they can't prove they actually sent it.

I also live in the U.S. and have received cash
from non U.S and U.S. buyers.

I don't put it in my auction description, but,
when asked, I always say 'YES'

Most Internationals are good about concealing this and I always tell them to conceal it propoerly when concealing cash.

It is certainly convenient for a lot of people.

If he is willing to send cast, he certainly has
trust in you----that's a nice thing.

I often send cash for orders 0f $20.00 or under and have never had a problem. I just round up to the next highest dollar amount, and yes, it is very convenient for alot of people.

Just tell them not to send coins.

This may seem basic, but you wouldn't believe how many people send me cash payments with coins taped to an index card. Geez, folks, why don't you just put a big "Hey, Mr. Postman, there's CASH MONEY INSIDE!" sticker on the outside?

Not to mention that coins are heavy. What are these people thinking?

If they'd asked before mailing it I would have told them to use currency and unused U.S. postage stamps for change.

I've had no problems with cash, even from outside the US. I advise against it, but some send it anyway. At least it doesn't bounce!

If they ask to send cash, I let them know it is at their own risk.

I've received cash payments from Canada, Germany and the UK with no problems.

I'll accept a variety of things in payment ... whatever makes it easier.

I also find it fun to accept things from different countries to give my girls ... it makes a great geography lesson
