General Electric AM/FM clock-radio in plastic case. No model on back.
I know, it's probably not worth much but I just need to know, ya know?
Can you tell I'm cleaning out the boxes today? My goal at the end of the day is to have one stack for listing, another for the booth at the mall and the other one for the garbage man. Well, back to work.

Some times When you can't find the info on the Bottom or back of an old radio if you open up the back inside will bethe treasured info you seek
Even if this radio is not tube type or bakelite case it can still turn out to be a jem .
This one is a 60's or Earily 70's GE clock alarm , I don;t see the words solid state on the front even so its my best guess it is tranistor no tubes.
Not sure what you Might get for it but I have sold some old radio's and I have seen radio like this go for up to $80 on yahoo and ebay as little as a year ago.
Radio collectors tend to be passionate about there hobby and will buy a old radio in fair condition even if they have to open it up and repair it to make it work. http://www.Dman-N-Company.com

My guess of the value is in the $5 to $10 range. I still see bunches of these radios at flea markets and they always go for a few bucks or go to the GoodWill.

Am I glad I decided not to try to sell it! I turned it on this afternoon and it eventually crapped out on me. I cannot get the radio to work at all now! At least it happened to me and not to a customer.
After five years of working from my home office, next month it looks as if I will be renting office space. I had decided to take it with me and freak out my co-workers. I was going to leave it on the 60s station and tell them that it was from the 60s and that's the only station that will come in.
