This was a email that I received from a winnng bidder this morning. This is the second person that I have received such a email from lately....It makes me wonder does AW Check out system have all of the information that our customers need to complete their transactions ? ...............
"The good news is that I won the bid. The bad news is that "auctionwatch"
doesn't seem to live up to what it's supposed to do. After clicking on the
link and filling in all my mailing info (which I don't have to do using
PayPal directly) and then searching on the GUI page that came up for the
PayPal link, nothing happened. So tomorrow night, when I'm not so tired, I
will go to PayPal and enter your email address and the charges for mailing,
etc. and our transaction will be complete."

Nope, there is nothing wrong.
The link from the WBN goes to Paypal. Period.
It does not supply any of the information that the winner so diligently placed in the WBN (apparently there is an API, AW doesn't have access to it). It is one of the many requested enhancements - for more than a year now.
I put the following notice in all of my WBNs and Welcome Messages:
Important note: If you are going to pay via PayPal, you MUST go to their web site (www.paypal.com) to perform the transaction. AuctionWatch.com does NOT let you perform this.
