Found this auction and wondered if eBay allows this. Isn't this just using eBay as a marketing tool? Neat if they can get away with it.

I don't think there is anything wrong with what he is doing. However the link to his web site, I think is against Ebay rules.

Looks to me like a "SIGN-POST" auction in which NOTHING is really at auction...ya just try to move folks to your site! feeBay would close it faster than a Dumbo Pretzel!

Of course, on the down-side, the CGI script could be capturing your ID to use for future spam...

Ebay must have cancelled this auction as I could not pull it up in an item # search.
