eBay will also allow sellers to customize the new form so they can remove options they don't use. The company also plans to personalize the form so that it will only offer options to a particular seller based on that seller's PowerSeller status or category.


It appears to me that with the hike in fees and now this, they are trying to get rid of the small sellers and make everyone a powerseller or be gone. I would welcome the change in the listing page as long as it is really for our convenience and not to rid the site of smaller sellers. But it does have that flavor.

You know I wondered the same thing when I read that part.

What could they offer a PowerSeller on the form that they wouldn't offer others ?

It may be just the automatic linking of the PowerSeller logo, but who knows.
