I have noticed numerous complaints about paypal..I have an issue with billpoint..
I paid thru an auction with billpoint, then received an email from the seller stating he doesn't accept it but ebay continues to place their logo on his listings..
Thi seller has nothing but positive feedback..
I contacted billpoint and they refuse to help at all. even paypal makes it easy to reverse dispuited charges..not billpoint..
does anyone have advice?? does anyone know of a site that doesn't have the problems people involved in the discussions here..thanks

mrfoxy76, the seller doesn't use billpoint -- doesn't have a billpoint account, but eBay still put their icon on his auctions.

We are not talking about PayPal here, you know. You can not pay a seller with Billpoint if they do not have a registered Billpoint account.

i think there is a way to turn off billpoint,he could look into his ebay preference.
paypal members who use the paypal debit card and get a rebate from paypal have to agree to not advertising other forms of payments on ebay auctions.
it could be turned off if he looks up on ebay site.
but if you have sent payment via billpoint and he is not set up for it,did you look at your billpoint account and see what the status is?

I purchased an item before Christmas and paid with BillPoint. The seller and I decided it would take too long for the transaction, shipping etc. to get the item by Christmas (I had paid by e-check). We ended up doing a credit card transaction and the seller was just going to issue a refund through billpoint for the echeck. The last communication with Billpoint apologized once again for whatever mix up there was, and assured us the transaction was due for refund on 1/24, and would be completed within 3-4 business days. We still don't have our refund. The seller has be very patient and has kept trying and communicating with Billpoint. He sends copies of emails to and from billpoint. Before this, I have never had problems with Billpoint, but all my transactions (both sales and purchases) have been simple and straight forward. I can't believe what a chore it's been to try and get our money back. Billpoint's been great, but I hope there is never a reason to need a refund again.

I am guessing the seller has a billpoint acct. to pay his ebay fees not to receive payment for auctions..
since i am the buyer, there is nothing i can do at this point except charge back thru my visa card..
meanwhile the auction ended 2 weeks agao and i am waiting for my stuff.
