An elderly lady friend of mine gave me these two small Japanese vases to sell. The first stands about 4 inches tall and has raised figures/designs on it...dragon, etc. On the bottom is "Made in Japan." My friend, who is 81 years old, said this once belonged to her mother but she doesn't know where her mother got it. The second stands 2 1/2 inches tall and has two painted flowers on the front...the porcelain flowers/stems are raised. On the bottom of this one is the word "Japan." My friend doesn't remember where she got this one. I say both are "porcelain" because they're translucent. The colors on both are pretty true to reality. Any information or help in identifying these two pieces will be, as usual, greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Edited for new photos. Also, I searched on "dragonware"...noted several mentioned "moriage"...Anyone know what that is? Thanks again...

they are both made in japan, one is dragonware which is quite popular at one time.
they dont have trade marks,so they are just mass produced ,could be for export .

The dragon ware looks to be a low grade satsuma type. It takes its theme from general dragon type design. But this one is not particularly well executed. Frequently these were meant solely for export. The really fine ones stayed in Japan. Best I can come up with, Dale
