Is there anyone else on Charter having problems with eBay mail? For a day or two, everything will be fine, I will receive the e-mails promptly. Then I will not receive any from eBay for several days. Then, for instance, this morning, I had 133 new e-mails from eBay, dating back 4 and 5 days, including questions about auctions that are already ended, EOA notices, etc. I have contacted both Charter and eBay. Charter says they have received complaints about excessive spam traced to eBay, so they have been blocking eBay's e-mails. That doesn't explain why I receive them in a lump once or twice a week, and Charter has no explanation for it either. eBay replied to my questions about what was going on with the mail service and Charter by giving me very detailed instructions on how to use My eBay to locate the items I had bid on or sold. (huh?) I have posted in red letters on every single one of my auctions NOT to contact me through eBay's system, please e-mail me directly. I have my primary addy listed on there twice, and my Hotmail addy on my About Me page. Obviously, bidders can't read. I don't want to switch everything over to Hotmail, because of the storage limit, and even though Hotmail says you can store messages in folders and they will not count toward your message total, I have had messages in my folders erased when I hit my storage limit before.

I get all kinds of rejections from people with charter.net accounts. I do not think I have been able to get one through for 2 weeks. They just bounce back. Only ISP I have had trouble with.

I'd use Yahoo or Hotmail, you really don't need some dimwit ISP telling you what they consider SPAM. There's enough problems with getting mail from eBay without someone holding up your stuff even more.

I use charter.net..and don't have a problem but have been told that depending on what state or area in the state your service resides in..the service is different. Some areas have more problems than others.
