I keep getting 550 user unknown from aol postmaster. This is the address e-bay gave me and I given clicked on the box for e-mail addresses and used the letter form that popped up with the address already typed in just in case I was making a typo error Can anyone tell me what it means? This is a newbie with 0 feedback and shades registered last week.

It means their email address is not valid. It is very easy to change AOL addresses. Notify ebay safeharbor, and they will NARU if they can not get a new address from them. You can also look up contact info on ebay to get their telephone number

Thanks for the info. I thought maybe they had blocks on their mail. I already looked up contact info but I do not really think I should call for a $26.00 item. Guess I will try customer support and see if they will try to contact the bidder and if their mail bounces. Since this party won a few other auctions, I may not be the first to have this happen.

By the way after you click on safeharbor, is there a link some way to click on to contact them? I tried the one where it said to report after the list of appropriate infractions and all the page did was jump up a few items. I may be missing something. Is customer support as effective?
