Is anyone else having trouble getting into eBay today or is it my ancient computer? Wouldn't you know...I've got a bunch of auctions ending in 30 minutes! ARGGGGG

Hi Blueyes,
It's not you, it's eBay.
I'm having problems too.
Where are you located? I'm in California, halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Could be it's just the server you're on. Seems that's what caused my problems on Saturday.

I'm in "tornado alley" (Oklahoma...and it's getting to be "that" season again)...and also with AT&T although I've generally been very pleased with their service. It is comforting to know that I'm not alone in the problem...maybe the ancient computer is still chugging along! Thanks for the reassurances...

I am located in Ventura County, CA and eBay access is fine. My hits are way down for the last several hours and that must be due to the problems others are having...

Hello all,
After a five-minute load time, I got to the announcement board.
Here's the latest scoop from eBay:
Date: 03/18/2002
Time: 13:40:49 PST
***System Status***
Some users may be experiencing intermittent site slowness, especially when downloading images. We are working to correct this issue as quickly as possible, and appreciate your patience.
Regards,
eBay

I'm getting no eBay images at all, just red x's. Hosted Pics still show up in auctions.
No eBay navigation bar either.
I'm in Michigan.

Same here in Maine. Can't do much of anything on eBay. I wonder if they will search and bidding was fully functional during this time?

SUPER SLOW here in Maine.....I feel very sad for anyone having auctions going off tonight. The buyers will have left in droves at this slow pace.

Frustrating, isn't it?! I'm in So. Calif. and can't get in to ebay to bid on something. I thought it was just my computer.

And I picked THIS week to end my auctions on a Monday rather than my usual Sunday! I think some early bidders got some really good deals...I KNOW one in particular did! A similiar item that, in an earlier auction, brought over $100, sold for $9.00 this time!

The problem seems to be with the eBay image server. I found that the pages load faster if I turn off the images. Don't get the auction images either, but if I'm viewing an auction I can select the image I want to view and download it...

Works fine in Ohio. Just saw a blurp in the news about the eBay site being slow.
