Why can eBay not remove feedback that is obviously, patently, provably false? I just got a neg from a newbie who claimed it took over a month for me to ship her item. The auction ended February 26. It hasn't even been a month since the auction ended, much less since I received her payment.

it sucks i think most of us have one or two negs from people either jerking around or newbies.....its stupid why it cannot be removed or rectified

One reason, it's expensive. They would be flooded with requests, and they'd have to do a little investigating to find out who's telling the truth. That would take an army of staff.
Supposedly, leaving a response to the negative is ebay's answer, but many stupid buyers only see the negative and don't read your response.
I've suddenly received some inaccurate deceiptful feedbacks from newbies. One says I took four weeks to send item. He forgot to mention it took him 3 weeks to send payment and only one week for the item to arrive. In the response to the negative I gave him, he says I refused to take anything but a money order. Strange because he sent payment via paypal.
Another moron said I took too long to send item. She even left the facts: Payment sent on March 8. Seller sent item March 12. Well, Sat-Sun I can't deliver, so realstically, the best I could do was send item one day sooner. For this I get a neg.
And to think some buyers base their buying decisions on this. If my items did sell for less, which they don't, because of these negs, then ebay simply gets less FVF and they can share in my loss. I wonder if they thought of it that way.
