I used to know where there was a free html editor but have lost it in the shuffle. Any suggestions? Want to use it for ebay auctions.

I also use 1st Page by evrsoft-not only can you download it for free-you can purchase the CD for $9.99 in office stores.
I have used Allaire, Composer, and many others and this is by far the best one I have come accross and easy to use. I am only a hobby seller-but I am using 1st Page to do an online family album- (so far over 10 pages and 50 photos-www.bjtraders.com if you want to check the work of a novice.)

I use Arachnophilia version 4. I see a new version has been released in Java.
Arachnophilia is an excellent editor with color coding, customizable toolbars, built-in FTP, templates. I imagine the latest version has some more neat stuff. Get it. Free.

Mac users should check out BBEdit Lite. I don't recall how HTML savvy it is, but BBEdit, their major product, rules!!!! Worth owning a Mac for that alone.

Thanks guys for all the help! Now I have several choices to pick from! <P> BUFFALO WOMAN - checked out your photo album. Looks like you are having fun! Double check your email link - I couldn't get it to work. <P> As usual, help was just a question/answer away! Thanks again!

jinkiesmom,I am having fun with the album. Still have a long way to go on it. Trying to learn how to do a stylesheet. (Can anyone help?) The headings are suppose to be in script, but not everyone has it installed on their computer.
Which email link didn't work? I tried most of them with no problem.(I did find a spot where a photo has "vanished-hafta check that out)

Style Sheets are very useful. You can find the complete specifications at the World Wide Web Consortium. Look under the CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) link.

I highly recommend NoteTab as an html editor. I've been using it for 3 years. The Light version is freeware:

I use the coffee cup software. You can click back and forth to see your progress and how the finished product will look.
Its is free to use and download.

Several are listed here :: http://directory.google.com/Top/Computers/Software/Freeware/Editors/HTML/
For a non-GUI HTML editor, Aranaea, is pretty easy and intuitive to use.
