Hello! I sent a 23 lb. item worth $300 via Priority Mail, with insurance and return receipt, on 3/15 to an address about 250 miles away. As of today, my buyer has not received it. (So, it's been exactly 7 days) The PO is closed for the day, the buyer is irritated, and I'm clueless. Can priority mail or insured items be tracked? How? Has anyone else ever "lost" an item? Or, should I give it some time -- does priority mail get delayed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Because you insured it for $300. there is a # that can be tracked at the post office. But you need to give the package more time. Within the past 3 months I've had one priority package take 15 days and another 17 days. Sometimes priority is slower than media mail.

It takes 30 days to file an insurance claim for a domestic delivery. It is not unheard of for priority mail to take so long...

There is no time guarantee on Priority Mail, it can be a few days to thirty days.
I would not get to excited about this as yet.
