Forget getting help from paypal. Someone posted on the amoe newsgroup that they tried and paypal says the guy's paypal and bank account are both bone dry. You won't be getting any money back from them.

Ebay's deductable is $20 per item. All item closed for less than $20. but if they close more than $20, with minus $20, I basically I get little back from ebay's cheezy insurance. I had a terrible situation from a Australian seller last year, I paid him $200 for 26 videos, all less than $20 each (of course) and never got any help from ebay when he never mailed it. The Australian seller is still a registered user, unlike thebarry. I think ebay don't care for nickel and dime video sellers, not knowing many videos can total up in the 100's. The 3rd rate insurance ebay has for bidders is a joke since they should count entire bill the crook stole instead of per item s/he stole. The insurance also has little protecting for buyer who send payment to UK sellers. I got 2 sellers so far who robbed me. Since the payment is in UK sterling, little help can be done. I must have lost $300+ dollars in ebays, these crooks gives us sellers a bad name.
