It's just not going to happen. Paypal is burried under Auctionwatch Partner Services. To most people, the ebay board IS auctionwatch, and personally, I find the paypal posts quite relevant to ebay since many sellers take paypal.

Me too! I am just as concerned with the good and the bad happenings at Paypal as I am with those of Ebay. Most of my customers use it and I find each post very relevant to any Ebay discussion.

Boy, am I steamed about PayPal now! I've never accepted it, but a buyer who just had a baby got confused and paid me with it, so I get this message from PayPal saying it's done and I decided to give the buyer a break. I went to sign up--what a hassle! The worst sign-up procedure I've seen yet, on line. All I wanted after all that, including giving them a credit card number etc., was that they send me a check for the big $7.50 the buyer had paid for. My husband, who's good at this stuff, looked over my shoulder at one point and said no wonder you say people don't like PayPal.

Now that I've experienced their methods, I understand all the complaints.

Yes, I understand everyone's position regarding PayPal and eBay's connection. Aside from the "buried" PayPal board the Buyer Beware board is totally PayPal related. Perhaps AW should list the PayPal board on the main Message Center list....

jalleniii:

They could put Paypal, on the front page and poster's would still put it here! It's too (inconvenient) to post on the proper board.

They have Yahoo on the main board,But: You still see Yahoo crap here!

I think whether or not Paypal gets discussed on the Ebay board is a real non-issue, and I guess I just don't understand what the problem is...

I am not intending to incite a fight, but can anyone explain this to me?

Like anything else, if you don't like it you can change the channel..hit the back key, don't read it, don't listen to it, don't eat it, don't smoke it, don't do it...

Why is this topic so bothersome to some? If I don't like a topic, I don't read it. Problem solved.

What am I missing here? (please don't yell at me, I am only asking a simple question, one I really don't understand..)

I agree with jallen...These posters are abusing the system!

jalleniii, now you're agreeing with yourself?

Do you take PayPal?

Simple solution here. Any thread about PayPal will most likely have PayPal in the title. You see it, you don't click on it.

Since October of last year we haven't had a system here to abuse. We do what we want and we like it like that.

there may be some members who want to read paypal and not ebay,so if paypal issues are posted under ebay, they will not see it??
since paypal issues are related to money matter, some ebayers may not have time and interest to read everything, they just read what they regard as important, aka $$$$.
personally i find many ebay issues not as relevant to me,like what rummage sale did you find, how to remove the smell from smelly books,or fist fight broke out over who gets this book at the library sale or even some of the squabbles between buyer and seller.
