Dear Alwaysbroke,
You wrote

"Now that you can get Delivery Confirmation numbers with First Class, maybe you can get some relief from the nervous type of buyer.
It costs 13cents through USPS Shipping Assistant and is free with Priority. "

How do you get free delivery confirmation? I've been paying 40cents per item ever since I started shipping with dc.
Thanks!

The link in the above message for USPS should read:

http://www.usps.com//cgi-bin/api/shipping_label.htm

www.usps...etc., not www.ups...that goes to the United Postal Service (UPS) site.

sure it's probably a typo...

Takes me less time to go to the sight and type in the name (it's in my fav places with my name part all filled out), than it does to use longhand on the little green slip, and wait for the postal worker to key it in.

I print in "econo" mode, on cheap, cheap paper, and get cheap cheap shipping tape to put it on the box. Be sure the tape is very smooth over the UPC code. I do the whole batch going out at once. Even easier if they pay via Paypal..then I just copy and paste the info in.

I love the free DC!!!

Yes, I do it in batches too, all going out the same day. It saves on shipping fees to the buyer too and gives some type of assurance without the extra cost.

Wow! Thank you all SOOOO much! I tried to find this on the USPS website, and must have looked in the wrong places.

I always use DC, at my expense, to save myself the hassle of buyers claiming not to have received the item. Now I can eliminate the expense without the safety!

That link goes to DC for Priority Mail, what about First Class and Media Mail?

Download the USPS Shipping Assistant for the online Media Mail and Parcel Post DC.

DC for those services is only $0.12 when you use the online labels.

First class DC wont be on until after the rate increase in June then even small first class items can get DC.

This will save a huge hassel with MIA items.

How have you been able to copy & paste; I haven't been able to do it?

How did you get your name & address to default?

Thanks in advance.
