Are there good leads for products in signing up for the Ebay Trading Assistance Program? I'm on the outskirts of a large city and I'm woundering if it's worth my effort and does the typical ebayer know of this service? How many responses have you had by signing up?

No responses, but I'm in an isolated area. Don't know how well the general ebayer knows about the service. You can sign up and if you get a response just be careful and check things out carefully and leave yourself a loophole to say no if you have to.

I am in a big city and have been lucky with the responses from the Trading Assistant page. I did put a little note in my auctions to tell people that I am an assistant and have been doing really quite well.
I don't meet anyone at their house. Always a public place. Avoid any problems. I have also been going around to small shops in my area and yard sales. I give them my card and my little info sheet.

Good Luck. I am having a ball!

I was VERY lucky, as I got hooked up with a nice lady who gives me 40 items of vintage ladies items every week -- with a 90% sell-thru!

I get 25% plus ALL FEES...GOOD DEAL!

Beats the heck out of the dwindling Monkey-Porn market!

I'm in a small town, and have had several calls. BUT! I am also putting up the posters eBay provides (you customize and print them) and leaving brochures at the local flea markets and antique stores!

Don't depend on the TA page at eBay - do your own marketing!

I'm in a pretty big city New Orleans and I have had several people call and am selling for 3 or 4 people right now.

All 31 items I am posting tonight are from these customers.

I charge $1 photo and creation fee plus 20% plus all fees. This seems to work out the best. The $1 photo and creation fee is when I list items for a customer that are questionable as to them selling. One person gives me some great high ticket items with some dogs, the $1 discourages those junk items. I average $15-20 overall per item.
