There was an article in USA Today that said Mastercard told Paypal and other 3rd party vendors to quit useing their card on 5/1. Paypal said they were negotiating.

What ever happened? Should we amend our terms on our auctions?

Any news?

I haven't heard anything since that article.

I am interested because I only have a Mastercard that I registered with PP.

If I cannot use it, I would think they would notify me that I needed to make a change or something. Of course, they really prefer for you to use the e-check feature, so maybe I won't hear anything until if/when I try to make a payment.

I have thought about getting a Visa just for on-line transactions, but if MC did/does pull the plug on 3rd party payment services will Visa be far behind????

Sure would like to know.

Looks like there was a communications failure.
